Southwire Part #: 73629240
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Determine the conductor size and type (A: Aluminum and C: Copper)!
  2. Adjust the flexible tube to align the cable size marking in the window (For example: 500 A= 500 kcmil Aluminum); Use disks for circuit sizes
  3. Position the tool against the planned cable route to verify that its minimum bending radius is not being exceeded

Applications and Features:

  • There is no need to calculate the Minimum Bending Radius (MBR) or search for a value on the spec sheet!
  • This all-in-one adjustable device can be used on the full size range of the most common building wire products including a total of 6 specs:
    SPEC 10000
    SPEC 10003
    SPEC 10005
    SPEC 10006
    SPEC 10012
    SPEC 10015
  • The specific conductor size is marked on the device to make installation easier.
  • A durable design allows for repeated use and the overbending prevention is achieved by using the patent pending smart tool to guide each route.
